Pamiparib - Mode of Action

 VIDEO   6:14   02/2021

Pamiparib (BGB-290) is an investigational potent and highly selective poly-ADP ribose polymerase (PARP) 1 and 2 inhibitor. In pre-clinical models, Pamiparib demonstrated PARP-DNA complex trapping, inhibition of PARylation (a widespread post-translational modification of DNA lesions catalyzed by PARPs) and anti-tumor activity.

Pre-clinically, Pamiparib has been shown to have significant penetration across the blood-brain barrier. Pamiparib is under investigation as both monotherapy and in combination therapy against a variety of solid tumors, including gastric and ovarian cancers.
